The Saturday of the BGC Long Walk Hurdle meeting is Ascot's most valuable day of Jumps racing, featuring the Grade 1 £100,000 BGC Long Walk Hurdle and the £150,000 "Ladbroke", Europe's richest handicap hurdle.
The Long Walk is Ascot's highest quality hurdle race, and was conquered 4 times the famous Baracouda, one of the all time greats of Jumps racing.
