Northwest Masters Betfair Chase

The Grade 1 Betfair Chase at Haydock Park is the highlight of the two-day Northwest Masters meeting shared between Haydock and Aintree.
The race consistently attracts the very best horses staying over 3 miles, and recent years have seen the great Kauto Star use this as an early season outing- demolishing a high class field in 2007 and then being upset by Snoopy Loopy in 2008.
The quality of the horses on show is a testament to the prestige of this event.
