Rule (A) 30.3 – Must not, in connection with horseracing, have any contact with any Disqualified Person or excluded Person
Rule (A) 31 – Co-operate with investigations by the Authority by providing full and accurate responses to requests and questions
Rule (A) 36.2 – Must not communicate Inside Information, directly or indirectly, to any other person for any material reward, gift, favour or benefit in kind, except in cases specifically allowed for in these rules
Rule (A) 42A – Disclose unacceptable conduct by reporting to the Authority any approach or invitation made to him, or any other person of which he is, or becomes, aware, to engage in conduct that would amount to a breach of the Rules of Racing
Rule (D) 32 – Must not leave and return to Racecourse property at any time during the Restricted Period without first obtaining the permission of a Weighing Room Security Officer or if an Officer is not available, a Stipendiary Steward
Rules (D) 33-35 – Adhere to provisions of the Rules relating to the use of mobile telephones, and ensure that all mobile telephones are registered, and full itemised telephone billings are obtainable
Rule (D) 53.3 – Avoid associating on racecourse property with a Betting Organisation or its representative, or communicating directly or indirectly from such property with such an organisation or its representative, except in circumstances specified in the guide
Rule (D) 75.1 – Must not bet, or lay any horse to lose a race, at any meeting which he intends in his capacity as such, instruct another person to do so for him, or receive the whole or any part of any proceeds of such a bet or lay
Rule (D) 75.3 – Do not enter the betting ring during a race, unless you can satisfy the Authority or Stewards that you had good reason to be there
Rule (D) 78.1 – Must not lay a horse to lose a race if the horse is ridden by a Rider for whom he acts as agent, instruct another person to do so on his behalf, or receive the whole or part of any proceeds of such a lay
The following provisions shall be added to the Guidance Notes for Master Valets and Assistants (when drafted):
Whether the applicant has observed the Integrity Provisions contained within section [ ] of these Guidance Notes.
INTEGRITY PROVISIONS
Avoid the company of Persons whose conduct, character or reputation indicate that they may pose a threat to the integrity of horseracing.
Make sure you have read and understood the definition of inside information in Rule (A)36.
Refrain from regularly passing Inside Information to anyone other than the connections of the horse, even where there is no reward except in cases specifically allowed for in the Rules.
Ensure that relationships with Betting Organisations or any person representing a Betting Organisation do not confer special privileges or concessions which may invite adverse inferences to be drawn.
