Rule (A) 30.3 – Must not, in connection with horseracing, have any contact with any Disqualified Person or excluded Person

Rule (A) 31 – Co-operate with investigations by the Authority by providing full and accurate responses to requests and questions

Rule (A) 36.2 – Must not communicate Inside Information, directly or indirectly, to any other person for any material reward, gift, favour or benefit in kind, except in cases specifically allowed for in these rules

Rule (A) 42A – Disclose unacceptable conduct by reporting to the Authority any approach or invitation made to him, or any other person of which he is, or becomes, aware, to engage in conduct that would amount to a breach of the Rules of Racing

Rule (C) 64.1 – Do not lay any horse under your care or control to lose a race, instruct another person to do so, or receive the whole or any part of any proceeds of such a lay

Rule (C) 66A.2 - If a Trainer enters into an arrangement with a Betting Organisation in connection with the advertising or promotion of goods and/or services, or the provision of views or information for general publication, he must notify the Authority of the identity of the betting organisation, the start and end date of the arrangement, a summary of the services provided by the Trainer under such arrangement and all benefits received by the Trainer under such arrangement

Rule (F) 95.2 – Ensure The Racing Calendar Office is informed, as soon as practicable when, for any reason, a horse cannot participate in a race (for example, due to injury or death) and avoid telling anyone other than the owner (or his representative) until The Racing Calendar Office has distributed the information

The following integrity provisions set out the standards of behavior to be observed by all Licensed Trainers as conditions of their Licence, and have been added to the Applications for a Licence to Train Guidance Notes and the Applications for a Permit to Train Guidance Notes:

25.9 Whether the applicant has observed the Integrity Provisions contained within these Guidance Notes.

INTEGRITY PROVISIONS

36.1 Avoid the company of Persons whose conduct, character or reputation indicate that they may pose a threat to the integrity of horseracing.

36.2 Make sure you have read and understood the definition of inside information in Rule (A)36.

36.3 Refrain from regularly passing Inside Information to anyone other than the connections of the horse, even where there is no reward except in cases specifically allowed for in the Rules.

36.4 Ensure that relationships with Betting Organisations or any Person representing a Betting Organisation do not confer special privileges or concessions which may invite adverse inferences to be drawn.

36.5 Report to the Authority any suspicious or unusual financial transactions (for example, cash payments in excess of a total of £10,000 for a transaction connected with the business of training racehorses).

36.6 Ensure that the usage of pass cards and any metal badges within a licensed racecourse complies with the user conditions laid down by the Racecourse Association
